Sidmouth late night shopping & light switch on – November 22nd 2025
Warm up with us at Dukes for a cosy hot chocolate or a mulled wine on the patio after you’ve explored Sidmouth’s independent shops and enjoyed the annual Christmas light switch on in the market square, taking place at 5.30pm. We’ve got hot water bottles and blankets at the ready!

Dukes Christmas Community Quiz
Head to Dukes for our very first Christmas Quiz!
We’ll be hosting a festive-themed quiz on the patio on Sunday 21st December from 6.00pm–8.00pm. Wrap up warm and bring your A-game.
Prizes include Sunday lunch for six at Baia Vista at The Elizabeth, a bottle of Champagne and a bundle of goodies from Kapes.
Bring your whole gang – tables cost £30 for groups of six, and includes two Festive Smorgasbords for the table to share.
We’ll have blankets and hot water bottles at the ready. But please note if the weather is too bad, we’ll offer refunds.

Dukes will be closed on Christmas Day
We’ll be open on Boxing Day for breakfast 9–11 and lunch 12–3
On New Year’s Eve, we’ll be open for celebrations until 1am!

Sidmouth International Jazz and Blues Festival – May 2026
The Sidmouth International Jazz and Blues Festival is returning for its fifth year, with a knock-out lineup featuring Jools Holland, Emeli Sandé, Macy Gray and Incognito. It’s four days of exceptional music from 22-25 May 2026. Tickets will sell out fast, so make sure to get in on the action!
The majority of the festival takes place in Sidmouth’s Blackmore Gardens, a short stroll from Dukes, making this the perfect place to rest and recover from a day of dancing.
